A Closer Look:

The included User’s Manual for the Kingwin ABT-800MA1S power supply is clear and easy to read with color photos. The included modular power leads feature a round design not seen too often in the industry. These connections feature a notch to help you install these in the correct position. A threaded sleeve helps keep the power lead attached to the PSU and prevents them from coming loose. A side note to these connections is that the 4-pin Molex and SATA power leads utilize five pins while the GPU leads only feature four.

The Mach 1 800 watt power supply unit features a standard ATX size and will fit into any case. The external casing features a medium dark mat finish with a PSU spec sticker on the hidden right side and an efficiency sticker on the exposed side (when using a windowed case). I would have liked to have seen the efficiency sticker included on the top or the right side out of view of windows, but it’s not too ugly I guess.

The back of the Kingwin power supply features hex-mesh ventilation with the power switch and power cord connection clustered on the side with the recessed voltage selector. The front of the PSU is home to the hardwired motherboard power leads and the modular connections along with a number of caution stickers.

The hardwired motherboard connections include a 20+4 pin lead, a four pin +12v lead and a separate 8-pin +12v lead. I don’t see why they chose to include separate 4-pin and 8-pin leads as I haven’t seen any 4+8 pin 12v motherboards out there but maybe there is.
