Our key values
Our key values are: creative, passionate and fast. Creative means: we challenge existing rules and boundaries to enable the future. Passionate means: we love to explore ideas and work very hard to make them happen. Fast means: we anticipate opportunities and execute efficiently.

Our name and vision
As a global company we have named ourselves Qimonda which works in all languages and cultural environments. Qimonda carries different meanings and allows associations in different languages. "Qi" stands for flowing or breathing energy, while the combination of the English word "key" and the Latin "mundus" is intuitively understood in the Western World as "key to the world" or as we say: "Qimonda." Our name has universal qualities and it reflects our strong global footprint in R&D and manufacturing, our worldwide customer base and our highly motivated employees who are dedicated to becoming the world's leading creative memory company.” ~ more info

The demands that are put on memory these days are enormous. With image/video editing packages and games requiring more and more memory, 1GB of memory is hardly enough anymore. Games like Battlefield 2142, F.E.A.R., Splinter Cell Double Agent, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and many more require a minimum of 2GBs to play at high resolution. Upcoming games being released in 2007 will further benefit from having 2GB of memory installed. Games like Medal of Honor: Airborne, Bioshock, and Crysis will definitely aid from 2GB of memory. As a matter of fact, if you can afford it, go with 4GB. Additionally, Microsoft Windows Vista operating system requires more memory than XP. I would recommend nothing short of 2GB of memory if you are installing Vista. Let's get on with the review.
