Introduction:

Today we get to review a newer case from Tuniq, the sub-division of Sunbeam Tech. The last time we reviewed a case from Sunbeam was the Quarterback case. The case wasn’t what we would call a winner in the gaming community but it did have some great cooling ideas implemented into its design. Some of these features carry over to the Tuniq 3 case with some additional improvements. That’s all for later though. On to the review!

Cooling Front 120mm (optional), Rear 120mm (included), 2 x 120mm Internal Fan Brackets (included) Expansion Slots 7 (tool-less)
Front I/O 2 x USB2.0, 2 x Audio Power Supply Optional (varies)
Net Weight 11.2 kg Dimensions 430 mm (H) x 200 mm (W) x 451 mm (D)

  • Brushed aluminum front bezel
  • Front I/O ports on side of front bezel
  • “3D Core-Fan Bracket” for up to four internal 120mm fans

The Tuniq 3 case comes in a retail type paging with all the pictures and details of the case in multiple different languages. Inside you find the industry standard protection system; two chunks of Styrofoam and a plastic bag to surround the case.

Included with the Tuniq 3 case is a User’s Manual, three sets of hard drive mounting rails, all the necessary installation screws and a cold cathode power supply with integrated expansion slot power switch.
