Exterior Overview:

With the packaging removed, the case is much lighter and feels very sturdy. Our sample of the Tuniq 3 case came in the Black on Silver colors and it immediately seems better looking in person than in the pictures.

The entire front bezel is made of plastic with a brushed aluminum panel. There are no markings other than the Tuniq laser etched into the middle, just under the front door.

With the front door open… oh yeah, guess what!?! The door opens from left to right. I just about kissed the case right on the hinges! With the door open, you have full view of the five 5.25” and two 3.5” external drive bays. The door is held shut buy two magnets mounted flush on the inner face. These simply make contact with screws mounted on the back side of the door. One thing that I really didn’t like was the exposed front control wires. I understand that the door stays shut most of the time, but the wires are the first thing that your eyes see when opening it.

The hard drive and power LEDs are found at the top of the bezel door. The Tuniq 3’s reset and power buttons are also found just beside the LEDs. The front USB ports are found on the left side of the front bezel, near the bottom.

The left side panel features a medium sized window with plenty of GPU ventilation holes. There is also the ability to mount a 80mm or 120mm intake fan on the inside of the window.

The back of the case features the basic layout; PSU mount, 80-120mm exhaust fan, I/O shield plate and seven expansion slots. The right side panel is just plain without any ventilation.

On the bottom, you will not find any round rubber feet like most cases. You will actually find two full length risers with nothing in between. Within these two risers are dual Blue cold cathodes! This is very sweet idea and adds uniqueness of the case.
