Interior Overview:

The Tuniq 3 case easily comes apart with included thumb screws. With the side panel off you can view the window’s mounting system for the optional side fan. Looking at the inside of the Tuniq 3, you can see that this case features a stabilization bar down the middle. This is actually part of the “3d” cooling system that has been developed for the Tuniq cases.

This “three dimensional” bracket features two included 120mm fans. These fans feature Blue LEDs for good looks through the left side panel. The two included fans are mounted on a hinge system to allow custom angling of the fans. On the opposite side of the bracket, two additional fans could technically be mounted at a 45° angle, but unless you run a system with all integrated components, you probably will run into obstacles getting it all to fit.

With the cooling bracket removed, you can now easily work within the case. The Tuniq 3 is a mid-tower case so there isn’t a whole lot of room to work and the motherboard tray is not removable. The case comes with the standard power switch, reset switch, power LED, hard drive activity LED, audio and USB headers.

The 5.25” and 3.5” external drive bays are built with a tool-less installation system. Simply align your drives with the front bezel and then slide the mount to the front and lock it into place. Hard drives get installed via included drive rails. The internal 3.5” drive cage only facilitates three hard drives at once. Between the hard drive cage and the front bezel is the option to mount a 120mm intake fan.

At the back, you will find that the seven expansion bays feature a tool-less installation system. Simply push the lever up, install the expansion card and then lock it back down. At the top, you will find that the PSU mount has a small support flap which simply helps during installation and doesn’t really offer any support. An included 120mm crystal clear fan is included as is a standard I/O shield plate.
