#915 - Sunbeam Tuniq 3 Case

Conclusion:

The Tuniq 3 case is something that will be on the fence for a lot of potential buyers. The front of the case has a very elegant/professional look with its uninterrupted brushed aluminum face. The left side features a window but is obstructed by ventilation, cooling brackets and drive bays. This kind of makes it useless. The included internal 120mm fans and the two Blue CCFLs light up the surrounding area with a wonderful blue glow (the red colors are from the PSU used to test the case.

Overall the Tuniq 3 case is very well constructed and I found nothing that really bothered me other than the exposed wires behind the door. There should have at least been black tape placed around the exposed items. The included blue CCFLs were an awesome idea that I think could have been better suited within the cabin of the case. The side slots of the risers/feet were just not enough to give the lights due justice.

The Tuniq 3 case has a lot of great features. For one the fact that the door opens in correspondence to the inclusion of the side window just made me want to jump up and down! The flexible cooling options are a tremendous feature but would have settled better if front and side intake fans were included. Overall this is a great case and would be recommended to anybody looking for better cooler, a great looking front bezel and a door that opens the logical way! Our thanks go out to Sunbeam/Tuniq for their supply of this review sample and their continued support of 3dGameMan.com!
