Page 5 of 7 Software: Since this is a USB2 plug-n-play device any new operating system will recognize it as a removable HDD. I'm using Windows Vista and it recogized the drive immediately. You can use it as it is or you can choose to install their SecuraDrive security software. I would strongly recommend using the security software to keep your data safe. This software is on the HDD and also on the included CD. Installation is a simple as entering the desired secure partition size, password and password hint. Once the secure partition is created the data is not visible or accessible unless the security software is used with the correct password.     |
