Conclusion:
The Tagan power supplies have continued to impress me. First their TG900-U95 900W power supply rated top notch and was the envy of many back in 2006. Then I had the chance to personally review the 1300watt power supply of the Tagan ITZ series and it just blew me away with the included features, strength, looks and scalability. The Tagan BZ series takes everything I loved about the ITZ series and improved upon it.
The Tagan BZ 1100watt power supply has a well suited feature set. This power supply is 80%+ power efficient rated, has six 12v rails with plenty of amperages that can be automatically combined to a single 12v rail if your system so demands! That feature alone is awesome. Then you get to the practically all but silent 135mm fan, the ‘lit’ power cable connections, the abundance of power leads, the gloves, the cable tote, the cable organizers, the SATA adapters and on and on and on!
The power alone should sale you on this power supply but if it doesn’t the feature and assessor set will. The Tagan engineers and marketing have done everything right with this power supply. One thing I did miss with the BZ series power supplies was the killer Blue chrome finish that the ITZ series had. It is one thing to tell somebody that you have a power supply worth the total value of that person’s computer, but it is another thing for that person to look in and start drooling all over the place. This surely is a 100% Kickass product! We would like to send our thanks out to Tagan for their supply of this review sample and their continued support of 3dGameMan.com!
