Page 5 of 5 Conclusion: The BFG 8800 GTX Video Card has a slight advantage in all crysis tests. This is no real surprise considering the drivers for the 3870 X2 are immature and not yet tweaked for Crysis. With more mature drivers for the 3870 X2 I suspect it would pull into the lead, but I'm just guessing. Also consider that Crysis has it's issues and is coded to work best with NVIDIA video cards. Crysis Patch 1.2 when released might solve some problems and may also increase speed for the 3870 X2 Video Card. Considering all this, in some of the high resolution Crysis tests the 3870 X2 almost tied the 8800 GTX. There's not a lot of games that can challenge these video cards but Crysis is certainly one of them. For fun I ran a few 3DMark tests and it's very clear who the winner is. The 3870 X2 is much faster than the 8800GTX in 3DMark. So if speed is what you are after either the 8800 GTX Video Card or the 3870 X2 Video Card would be excellent choices. Again please note that the ATI 4X00 and NVIDIA 9X00 series Video Cards will be released soon. This means even faster video cards are just around the corner :) > ADDITIONAL INFO/COMMENTS IN THE FORUMS <
