Software:
I'm using Windows Vista and it recognized the drive immediately. You can use it as it is or you can choose to install the TrueCrypt security software. I would strongly recommend using the security software to keep your data safe. To download the latest TrueCrypt software click here.
This software is on the drive. Installation is a simple as doubling clicking on the 'TrueCrypt Setup.exe' file. This will launch the installation process. All that's required is to create volume, select either standard or hidden options and then encrypt it using the desired encryption options. For more information on installation, click here.
PLEASE NOTE: The TrueCrypt software is not preloaded on 2GB models.
