Introduction:
For those of you that are not familiar with Glacial Tech Inc., they were started in 2001 by three factory owners and eight researchers looking to become a complete thermal solutions provider. They have a number of quality OEM power supplies, chassis and CPU coolers along with a custom manufacturing process for large quantity needs. Here is a blurb from their website profile:
“As a total thermal solution provider, GlacialTech is committed to using lighter weight materials, lower noise and lower manufacturing cost to deliver superior cooling solutions. All this has brought about the increased value for our customers with lighter system board loading, quiet working environment and optimal price performance. Price performance, noise performance and weight performance are our three cooling design philosophy. Having acquired ISO 9001 and 14001, GlacialTech commits itself to using green materials for its products designs and to perfecting green manufacturing processes in manufacturing its products.”
Today we get to look at the new Glacial Tech Igloo 5750 CPU coolers. These coolers come with both Intel and AMD mounting brackets for universal compatibility (current generation of sockets). They also come in two flavors; standard and PWM controlled. We received both for review and will visually cover just the standard unit, but will test both and give you the results later in the review.
