Introduction:

The first AGP slot appeared on x86 compatible motherboards in mid-October of 1997 and a flood of products followed thereafter. It's now the year 2008 and AGP is still here for the time being, but the ever shrinking user-base is catching up. Could this be the end of the road for AGP?
