Installation:

Since its true plug and play, installation is simple and is PC and MAC (OS X) compatible. Once the power adapter and USB cable are connected, just slip a 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD in at the top until it snaps in to the docking station. Then press the power button (at the back) and that's it. To transfer data, just use it like a normal HDD. To release the HDD just push down on the front center lever. At the front right is the power LED (blue) and HDD activity LED (red).



Note that this product is also hot-swap capability which means that a HDD can be inserted or removed even when the docking station is turned on. So you don't need to turn off the docking station in order to connect or disconnect a HDD. Cool or what!
