"Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT) has not officially named Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) as the sole culprit in shipping desktop PCs with a driver glitch that causes systems to crash or enter an endless reboot cycle upon installing Windows XP service pack 3. But Microsoft's own message board discussion of the glitch focuses entirely on HP machines with Advanced Micro Devices processors and a Microsoft customer service representative told ChannelWeb Monday that the problem seemed limited to HP desktops." ~crn.com
