Page 2 of 6 Packaging: This product was shipped in small cardboard box and the memory had bubble wrap all around it so it won't move around inside the box. Well, doh! Thankfully packaging get a bit more exciting, read on... ![]() ![]() The actual product packaging is very trilling. Ok, maybe not trilling, but it's much more captivating than most memory packaging. It has a very beastly, almost X rated appearance. It's really eye catching which is exactly what you want from a marketing perspective. Opening the box reveals the memory in a clam shell plastic casing and a note on SPD & Voltage; CAUTION, READ ME - BEFORE UNLEASHING THE BEAST - SPD: For optimized compatibility purposes GeIL uses SPD Safe-mode Technology. The rated SPD and the default pre-programmed SPD might be different. Please refer to your motherboard manufacture's owners manual for DRAM Adjustment & Settings. VOLTAGE: For all GeIL performance DDR2 memory modules, please follow GeIL's recommended voltages for best performance. Each model's specific recommended voltage can be found on the laser sticker to the right of each module. Please also refer to your motherboard manufacture's owners manual for DRAM voltage adjustment. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
