Page 5 of 6 Results: For testing this product, I used the following test setup: Motherboard: ASUS P5N-T Deluxe | BUY CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600 | BUY PSU: Antec 850W| BUY Video Card: 2 x 8800 GTX | BUY Hard Drive: Western Digital Raptor X 150GB in RAID 0 | BUY Memory: G.SKILL DDR2 PC2-8800 4GB Memory Kit | BUY ![]() Please note that in order to find the maximum stable overclock, I increased the memory voltage to 2 using a timing of 5-5-5-15 T2. I started at the default speed of 1100MHz DDR2 and slowly increased until I hit 1120MHz. I found 1120MHz DDR2 to be stable when both running Prime95 and games. Remember, the lower the memory timing the better. Sometimes a lower memory timing at a lower speed will be on par with memory at a higher speed using higher memory timings, so keep that in mind when overclocking memory. Please keep in mind that these overclocking results will vary from module to module and system to system. |
