Page 4 of 7 A closer look: This power supply has a silver paint finish and and thick *2mm) all aluminum casing. It's dimension is; 21cm(L) x 15.5cm(W) x 9cm(H) and it weights in at 3.2kg (7lbs). Please note that internal power supplies have to meet the ATX standard. This means that the height is usually the same, although the length and width can vary. Since this is an external Power Supply it doesn't fall into that category.
![]() Inside the unit there is one 80mm intake fan at the front which blows cool air over the large copper heatsink & heatpipe cooling system. This results in a whisper quiet power supply and that's a wondering thing :) ![]() There are ventilation holes all over this product. At the front there is a power switch and LCD which shows the temperature, wattage and three voltages. This product has auto switching so there's no need to manually switch between 115V/230sV before installation.
![]() At the back is where the 38cm (15") long 24 pin, 16 pin, and 8 pin UV reactive adapter leads get connected. Also, the power cable connection is at the back.
![]() This power supply has plenty of leads and they are all sleeved. This reduces the cable mess and increases air flow inside the case. I'll have more on this plate in the next section.
![]() Leads/Adapters: 1- 20/24 pin Main Motherboard Lead 1- 8 Pin ATX 12V Motherboard Lead 1- 4 Pin ATX 12V Motherboard Lead 2- 6 Pin Video Card Lead (for PCI-E Video Card) 2- 4 Pin FD Lead (for Floppy drives) 6- 4 Pin Acc Lead (for HD, CD, DVD, etc) 2- SATA Power Lead At the bottom is four anti-vibration soft rubber feet. Who would have thought, a power supply with feet! ![]() |
