Page 4 of 6 A closer look: This memory has the standard aluminum heatspreader. These are used in all of the current Ballistix memory line. While this design does work well, a change is needed. Many other companies are beautifying their memory with fancy heatspreaders. Modders and the like love cool looking product, even memory. Remember, always insure proper case air circulation so the radiated heat can be moved out of the case. 
 Each module has the Crucial logo along with the part number and other information about the memory. Also, the Ballistix name branding.
