Introduction:
Silverstone has quickly become a name along the lines of quality greats like Lian Li. This quality is starting to branch out of the case realm and starting to accessorize! Today, we check out the new SilverStone NT04 CPU cooler. The NT04 is not the lonely child in this family. SilverStone also produces the NT01, NT01 v2.0, NT02, NT03, NT05 and NT06 CPU coolers. Here is what SilverStone has to say about their NT04 cooler:
“Designed for AMD processors utilizing Socket 754/939/940/AM2 platforms, the NT04 is a lightweight and affordable CPU cooler capable of dissipating 100W of power. This incredible performance to weight ratio is achieved using a finely tuned extruded aluminum heatsink and combining it with a handsomely crafted new aluminum fan. With a size that is also compact enough to fit inside many smaller cases, the NT04 will be a very useful and versatile cooler for AMD users.”~SilverStoneTek.com
As the NT04 cooler is an all aluminum design with a lower rpm fan, this will be geared towards the lower power consuming processors like the AMD Semprons and the lower end K8’s. Onto the review!
