Page 4 of 6 A closer look: This memory has the standard black aluminum heatspreader. While this design does work well, a change is needed. Many other companies are beautifying their memory with fancy heatspreaders. Modders and the like love cool looking product, even memory. Remember, always insure proper case air circulation so the radiated heat can be moved out of the case. 
Each module has the Corsair logo along with the part number and other information about the memory. Also, the XMS2 name branding.
