Introduction:
Toshiba’s American headquarters are based in New York, NY and is made up of six divisions: Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS), Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS), Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. (TAMS), Toshiba America Consumer Products, L.L.C. (TACP), Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC), and finally Toshiba International Corporation (TIC). Toshiba America made a whopping $6.995 Billion in 2005! That is just in America; imagine what their parent company, Toshiba Corporation, brings in per year. I personally own and prefer Toshiba laptops. My personal machine has lasted five years of abuse from kids, parents, friends and family, and the occasional drop. I have experienced a great history with Toshiba.
