Comparisons 1/2: Since the first thing I thought of when I saw this Noctua cooler is that it was a copper version of the Thermalright Ultra-120, I figured that I would give you some comparison shots. Standing next to each other, you can see that the Noctua stands a bit shorter than the Thermalright and that the fins are a bit closer to the base as well. ![]() ![]() From the side, you can see that Noctua decided to go with a flat fin design as compared to the Ultra-120's twisted version. At the bottom you can see the differences in bases and aluminum heat pipes compared to the copper of the NH-U12. At the top you can see difference in approach to the fin's edge design.
