Packaging and Contents:
Cooler Master, as always, shipped their product to us in a brown shipping box, surrounded by packing peanuts. The size of the shipping box slightly surprised us as it was about three times that of a typical shoe box! With the retail package removed, you can see why. This cooler is fairly large. The odd thing is that the retail packaging seemed unnecessarily bigger than then heat sink. With the package opened, you can see that the heat sink is surrounded in a plastic tray. There is a fair amount of protection surrounding the Eclipse cooler.

With a special thanks to the Cooler Master for their easily opened plastic tray, the contents were easily removed. Starting from the top left going clockwise, you have the Cooler Master Eclipse heat sink and fan, the User's Guide, the AMD socket retention arm and bracket, a tube of Cooler Master brand thermal interface and lastly the Intel socket retention brackets and required washers etc.
