Packaging and Contents: Today we are taking a look at the XG Viper 2 case. Our thanks goes out to Geeks.com for providing this sample for review! When I received the package from Geeks, I couldn't help but be taken back by the size of the shipping box! It was huge! It was a standard brown shipping box, but OMG! I couldn't even capture it in my photo booth... But once opened you can see why. The retail box of the XG case is 610mm x 320mm x 480mm! The quality of the packaging was better than almost that of any other manufacturer's packaging that I have seen. Very shiny and eye catching.     Opening the retail box, you find two cardboard sleeved Styrofoam blocks, sandwiching a bright red, plastic wrapped, Viper 2 chassis. To get the chassis out, I did have to acquire the help of a second person to pull it out while I held the outer box. The normal flip it over and let it slide out didn't work.    |
