Accessories: The XG Viper 2 case comes with a nice shinny black box full of goodies for you. Opening the box you will be greeted with layers of little baggies, parts and more. ![]() ![]() First you will find a couple of cable organizers. These really come in handy and I feel that more manufacturers should include these or organization options in the case. These organizers do not have pre-applied sticky tape. This comes separate and is easily applied to the plastic surface. Along with these organizers, you will find three white zip-ties. As we all know, these are a computer builders duct tape! ![]() ![]() ![]() In with the accessories is also a small zip lock baggy of mounting screws, motherboard mounts, etc. A second larger zip lock baggy contains all the necessary retention clips for the 5.25 and 3.5 drive bays. These simply clip into aligned drives and then you turn them to lock. Very easy, very simple. One thing I found is that when using these clips, the pegs that go into the drives can sometimes be too big and can break. We now have an optical drive with a plugged mount. Just something to keep in mind when you are trying to pull one off and it isn't playing nice... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next you will find the User's Manual. This is very simple and clearly illustrated. ![]() ![]() You will find with this manual a product roster that included some deals; like a free Mod Kit before shipping and handling. This is something that is just straight up awesome. This kind of promotion is what makes the consumer come back! ![]() ![]() ![]() Next you find a optical disc with the label showing just the XG logo. Popping this into a computer gives you the option of installing the new Bloodrayne game, installing and downloading one hundred songs from eMusic, or installing Panda Platinum Internet Security. I have to say, this on top of the promotional offers is something that would bring me back to XG. Manufacturers should really be looking into this! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
