A closer look:

The DeathAdder mouse is available with a blue LED and has an ergonomic right-handed design. Sorry lefties, but this mouse would not be comfortable for you. This mouse is also a little on the large side, so if you have a small hand it probably won't be comfortable. If you notice lint on the mouse in the below pictures, it's because the material on the top of the mouse really attacks lint. I had a hard time removing all the lint for the high-res pictures. Camera does tend to pronounce the lint though. Although, I'd recommend keeping this mouse in a lint-free area!

There's something about LEDs! They give a certain cool factor to almost anything and certainly work very well with the mouse. The scroll wheel has a blue LED and
so does the logo. Also, the logo turns on and off in a glowing fashion,. Both the scroll light and the can be disabled though through software (as noted above).

The more buttons the better, and this mouse has 5 programmable buttons and scroll wheel. There are two buttons on the left side, two at the top and the scroll wheel which also doubles as a button.

At the bottom there are three
Zero-Acoustic Ultraslick™ Teflon feet, and a profile change button (select up to 5 saved profiles). Finally, it comes with a long 7 foot, lightweight, non-tangle cord. Having a long cable is a definite plus, because it gives up the reach needed in some computer setups. Also note that the USB connector is gold-plated.
