Packaging and Contents:
The D-300 came directly from iStarUSA in a very large brown shipping box with the iStarUSA logo on the side. This box was definintly too big for my photo booth, thus I had to compare the size of the shipping box with my Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0. Funny enough, my friend Calvin made it into the picture too! Calvin is a large cat as you can see in comparison to the mouse (wow, that was not planned, honest!).
Opening the box, you find... another box! As I have worked in the shipping business in the past, I can tell you that this actually makes a big difference in the safety of the contents. Kudos to iStarUSA for thinking safe, but I would have liked to see them use some recycled product to do the protection rather then a second layer.
With the second box opened, you will find that there is another layer of cardboard with Styrofoam blocks to hold the case in place. The case fit very snug and was not easily moved around in the cardboard shipping box. Secure contents equates out to the contents coming to you in one piece. The D-300 is also wrapped in plastic for scratch free shipping. When removing the case, the first thing you notice is that the case is actually very heavy; without all the components installed! Please be careful and do not pull any back muscles. Get help from a friend if needed.

Included with this case are the standard accessories. Starting at the top left, going clockwise, you have seven expansion bay slot covers (vented), USB header diagram, standard ATX power cable, User's Manual, two four pin Molex, pass through, to three pin fan header adapters, three bags containing the necessary screws, mounts and others for installing a system into this case.
