Packaging:
Zalman shipped the CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler in a large cardboard box. The box
was much larger than it really needed to be, but this was to insure it would not get
damaged, and that's a good thing. As a matter of fact, Zalman has a reputation
for packaging their products very well, much better than most other companies.
Most of the products I've received from them have lots of padding and cases are
double-boxed. It's a time saver for everyone when products are shipped
correctly and thankfully companies are clueing in to this fact.
There's a lot of time and money that goes into the packaging. Let's face it,
the box is what consumers see and it should look appealing and showcase the
product and its features. This packaging easily accomplishes that goal. At first
glance, this box's packaging reminds me of a jet engine, which is a
good thing. Why so green though? Apparently NVIDIA blessed it ;)

This product is also packaged very well inside the product box. They
use a plastic covering to protect the fins from
getting bent. Remember, if a product box looks
damaged or opened, contact the company/reseller.
