SilverStone is really trying to make a name for itself in the cooling market. Unfortunately, the Nitrogen NT05 does not astonish us with anything special. At high RPMs, this cooler can really take away the heat at twenty seven degrees Celsius, but when the numbers start crunching, the thirteen degree spread might not look too favorable. At low RPMs, the NT05 might as well be a stock cooler.
Though the NT05 does not perform amazing at low RPMs, the SilverStone cooler does pack a pretty decent punch to heat for its size if you don't mind the noise. I can definitely see this cooler in a server or noise suppressed chassis and doing a terrific job. The SilverStone Nitrogen NT05 cooler brings home the Great status in my books for its small size, good performance at high RPMs. The included rheostat may attract some along with the smaller price tag. Once again, we would like to thank SilverStone for providing this cooler for review along with supporting the 3GM server build!
