Page 7 of 7 Conclusion: This enclosure offers looks and performance all in one package. If you are in the market for an external enclosure that has the fastest performance then this would be it. While USB2 is fast, a direct SATA connection is much faster. Since most large capacity 3.5" SATA Hard Drives are affordable, it's a fantastic backup solution. Please note, this unit doesn't have a fan to keep it cool, however the outside aluminum body helps lower HDD temperature a little. Overall though, this HDD enclosure is hard to beat! Pros: - Performs extremely well - Affordable - Looks great Cons: - No fan for cooling - Only one color option                              |
