A closer look
:

Icemat Siberia In:Ear Headset consists of in-ear headset (earphones), unidirectional microphone, and an extension cable. Before I continue I should also mentioned that the earphones can be purchased separately, without the microphone.

First, lets have a peek at the in-ear headset. These earphones are all white, comes with a 3.5mm mini jack and has a 1m cord. This length of cord is a perfect length for most applications. Since these earphones have a great frequency response and effectively blocks background noise, they are well suited for on-the-go applications. The headset is specifically designed for a multitude of uses including MP3-players, laptops, the Sony PSP and other consoles (sound isolation allows for low volume settings) as well as IP-telephony in noisy locations. These earphones come with silicone ear tips installed, but there are two additional
silicone ear tips included for different ear sizes. These ear tips are very comfortable and insure a snug fit. Although, if you have waxy ears you may have a problem. Also, the earbuds are labeled left (L) and right (R), left for left ear and right for right ear. Don't be mixing up your left and right dude!

The
unidirectional microphone is all white, comes with a clip for attaching it to your shirt or jacket and has an on/off switch. It has a 3.5mm mini jack and 1m cord. The mic is very responsive and it well suited for IP-telephony, gaming or just about any application where a microphone is required. CLICK HERE to listen to the microphone performance (4MB).

The 1.8m (6') extension cable that's included is also white and the headset and/or the microphone can be attached to it. This extension cable will come in handy, especially if you are using this product for something other than a portable device. One of the first things I did was get the extension cable unpacked and connected the headset into my computer system. Hail extension cables!

Also note that the headset 3.5" jack is color coded green, the microphone
3.5" jack is color coded pink and so is the extension cord. This ensures easy connection to audio devices, because green is for headset/headphone/earphone and pink is for microphone.
