"AMD has lowered pricing on many of it's mainstream and high-end CPUs. An Athlon 64 X2 3600+ for ~$70US is serious bang for the buck! Considering you can probably overclock it to 2.4-2.6Ghz. Intel will probably soon follow with a price drop." ~amd.com
