Case:
First, select a case (sometimes referred to as enclosure or chassis). Remember, the case is a very important component in the system. Not only is it where everything gets installed, but you need to love the way it looks because you'll probably be staring at it for a long time. I personally stay away from the cheap plastic bubble cases that look like they came out of a bad science fiction movie/cartoon. Although, I realize this kind of case seems to be very popular with the young crowd. I would personally lean towards a sleek looking, functional, aluminum chassis.

The main features to look for in an excellent case are: lots of room to work, a removable motherboard tray, plenty of drive bays, enough fans to provide excellent air circulation and made from lightweight steel (SECC) or strong aluminum (2-3mm). It hard to get a case that has it all, but I've listed a few cases that I believe come very close. Also, be sure to select a case that will fit the latest ATI 3000/4000 series Video Cards and NVIDIA 9000 series & 260/280 Video Cards. The cases I've recommended below should have no problem fitting the latest Video Cards.

I’d recommend any of the following cases:
