Introduction:
Here at 3dGameMan.com, we have reviewed a number of Nexus power supplies, a case and even a fan controller, but never a Nexus cooler. Today we are going to reviewing their first chipset cooler, the NHP-2200. For those of you that don’t really know who Nexus is, here is what their website has to say:
“Nexus Technology BV was established in 2000 by a group of experts on heat conductivity and noise reduction in the computer industry. The founders have build up an in depth knowledge and experience on heat conductivity issues and thermal characteristics by working closely with many of the larger pc manufacturers for several years.
The idea to have a full line of high quality computer components to improve the working environment by reducing noise levels brought the founders together. Continuously developing products to reduce noise levels and consequentially improve heat conductivity and airflow. Our goal: Building a strong and reliable trademark for silent computing.” ~Nexus.nl
It has been a while since we have reviewed a Nexus product and this newest chipset cooler has a lot of promise. We recently took a look at the Noctua NC-U6 passive chipset cooler and found some pretty impressive numbers. Let’s see what the Nexus cooler can do for us!
