The Included Stuff:

The included User’s Manual is in black and white. I found these instructions a bit cumbersome and confusing at times. After a few minutes of looking at the pictures and turning them around a couple of times, you get the general idea. Nexus also includes a tube of Nexus branded thermal grease. This has the same consistency of Arctic Silver, but there is no markings saying such claims.

Included for installation of the NHP-2200 are a couple of sticker type washers for use in screw type mounting. Along with the washers is a foam shim. This is for surrounding chipsets that do not include an IHS (integrated heat spreader). This helps the cooler from tipping one way or another, possibly causing damage to the chip dies.

The following image is the main component in installing the Nexus passive cooler. These wing-like plates get mounted to the cooler, and then any one of the following mounting solutions can be screwed onto the plates with two short screws: spring loaded, bolt-on, or hook-style.
