Packing products
correctly will make the customers happy and save the company money in the long
run. Let's face it, there's nothing worse than receiving an item and having to
deal with a damaged product. This display is packaged in the typical cardboard
box most companies use. There's a convenient handle at the top so it's easy to
carry. Inside you'll find the cables, stand and display are wrapped separately.
This is to ensure that there are no scratches on any of the parts. Thankfully,
nothing was scratched or damaged in any way.
 
Not only is this product packaged well, they also use peel-off plastic to cover
the stand and edges of the monitor. This peel-off plastic is also on the
ViewSonic branding, which prevents scratching on the very shinny parts.
Also, the screen area of the monitor is covered with a thick plastic sheet to protect it from any
light impact or smudging. I would recommend keeping this on until the monitor is
installed.
What's included is LCD display, power cable, 15-pin VGA video cable, audio
cable, HDMI to DVI-D cable, Quick Start Guide and ViewSonic Wizard CD.
