Conclusion:
Large widescreen displays are becoming
more and more popular, especially amongst gaming
enthusiasts. The ViewSonic VX2435wm 24" Widescreen LCD has
elegant styling and loaded with features, but falls short on
overall display quality, especially for the computer user. I
found this display next to impossible to set the correct
color, contrast and brightness for my liking. No matter what
I tried the display always seemed too bright. This can be
resolved though with the video card color properties. For
the most part, you should be able to turn on a display and
start working/playing. I believe this display would be best
suited for a Home Theatre PC or gaming console. I'm very
fussy when it comes to computer displays and this one
doesn't suite my fancy. I was expecting more from
ViewSonic's latest 24" widescreen display, but it's still an
overall great product.
