Packaging:
The Leadtek PX7600 GS TDH was sent to us from Geeks.com within a standard brown shipping box filled with plastic air-pillows (much superior to peanuts). Inside the shipping box is the Leadtek retail PX7600 display box. Excellent build quality of the vividly colored retail packaging ensures that your new video card will arrive without incident. Within the retail packaging, the contents are held into place very well by the organization and placement of the internal cardboard pieces.

Included in the PX7600 GS’s contents is an Installation Manual, Software User’s Guide, the PX7600 GS TDH video card, a DVI to VGA adaptor, a high definition out cable, Drivers Disc, ‘bonus’ third party software and two video games
The included DVI to VGA adapter is something that the industry is now accustomed to including. This is a great value and something that when is not included, makes the customers feel ripped off. Always good to see the ‘other little things’ included. The PX7600 GS also comes with a high definition output adapter that gives you your S-Video output along with your component RGB output.

Both the Installation Manual and the Software Manual are in black and white and are very clear to read and easy to use.

The Leadtek PX7600 GS TDH Classic Edition comes in two versions. A fan cooled edition and a passive heat-pipe equipped version. Today we are reviewing the passive edition. This edition comes with an all black heatsink that covers the GPU and memory modules. Unlike many other passive cards out there, the PX7600 GS only has the heatsink on the front. Though there is a heat pipe, it only transfers the heat from the slot area of the heatsink to the top of the heatsink.
