The Leadtek PX7600 GS TDH Classic Edition comes built on a green PCB and has very few capacitors. This is due to the less powerful 7600 series GPU. The 7600 series of cards offer less wattage consumption than their big brother the 7900 series. This is what enables the PX7600 GS to run cooler and use a passive cooling solution which is ideal for HTPC builders. On the back there are four spring loaded screws that go through the PCB to hold the passive heatsink firm. Near the back of the card, you will find a label designating which card you are using. In our case, the label correctly identifies this card as the Leadtek WinFast PX7600 GS TDH card using 256mb of 128-bit memory.
From the side you can see that the passive heatsink has no extruding parts and only occupies the single slot that the PX7600 is installed. This is a very attractive feature, once again, for the HTPC or Mini-PC builder. You can also see that the copper heat pipe has been slightly flattened to create a better contact surface with the heatsink and transfer the heat out through the twenty three rows of fins. At the back of the card is the common TV/High Def output, DVI and VGA connections.
