Page 6 of 6 Conclusion: The XG Duro 900W Power Supply with Quad +12V rails is obviously going to turn heads. No matter how you swing it, 900 watts is a lot of power. Some may say it's way too much power and not necessary. This is probably true for your average computer user. MGE is not targeting the average mom and pop computer user with this product though. Rather, it's is geared towards the hardcore computer gamer. With faster and faster processors and Video Cards coming on the market, more power is needed then ever before. Let's face it, two tweaked out NVIDIA SLI 7900 or ATI Crossfire X1900 series Video Cards at max load will consume a fair amount of power. Remember, Quad SLI is not far off as well! Also consider that most serious gamers overclock their CPUs. This puts even more demands on the Power Supply. Fact is, maxing everything out does requires a powerful, reliable, stable power supply. If this is what you require, be sure to check out the XG Duro 900. Pros: - ATX/BTX compatible - An overwhelming amount of power - Quad +12V rails - Dual PCI-E Video Card Leads - Active PFC - All cables are sleeved Cons: - No modular leads - Not officially NVIDIA SLI certified but pending NVIDIA approval
