Interior:
The interior of the XCLIO 3060 Plus case is pretty boring. It does not feature a removable motherboard tray and though there are spots for tool-less operation, there are no tool-less pieces included. One thing I did not notice right away was the fact that there are holes in the frame located above the expansion bays. This is very helpful for those not talented in the Jedi 45° screw down methods.
At the front of the case, you can see the additional holes found in the expansion bays’ walls. These are where the tool-less features would be found. I find it very disappointing to not find these included. It is as if the case is mocking you, saying, “Hey, just pop that new burner in and go… oh wait, that’s right, you can’t!” It just isn’t right. At the front you will find where you can mount multiple fan options.

At the back of the XCLIO case, you will find the standard ATX PSU mount. You can see that there are a few PSU support tabs available. Directly below the PSU mount is the exhaust fan mounts and the I/O plate. The I/O plate is made of steel and is removable and replaced with the I/O plate that came with your motherboard. Looking at the fan mounts, you can see that you can mount two 80mm fans or a 120mm fan. The specifications say that you can mount a 140mm fan here, but there are no mounting holes for it nor is there room. You could buy an adapter and make it work however. The expansion slots below the I/O area are made of steel and are tacked onto the case requiring you to bend them off.

The XCLIO 3060 Plus comes with front I/O cables with enough length to reach the back of the case. I have never seen a motherboard have the I/O headers at the back, but this length allows you to practice your cable management skills. These cables include the standard power switch, reset switch, USB and HD Audio headers. It also includes a two pin variant of the four pin Molex power connector. This allows the front of the case to light up when powered on. This Molex does not allow for power pass through and should be installed on an unused power lead.

With the baggy of included pieces removed from the internal 3.5” bays, you will find that XCLIO has included all the necessary screws and standoffs to install your system into this case. They have also included an internal buzzer an extra expansion slot cover and four soft rubber feet. These feet get installed at the bottom of the case in the designated spots by peeling off the adhesive tape and placing them within the circles.

Remember that huge 360mm fan we were talking about? Well, I haven’t forgotten about that! The fan has its own housing on the side of the left side panel. The fan’s power header comes through the side wall and into the case. From the pictures you can see that this is a seven blade fan and has quite the frame holding it together. At the center of frame, surrounding the hub is a cluster of five bright Blue LEDs.

I have placed a standard I/O shield on the fan’s frame to give you an idea of just how big it is! With the power turned on, you can see that the LEDs are bright even with the lights on.
