Installation and Conclusion:
Using the X-Arcade Tankstick is a breeze! Simply plug in both USB cables and the Red LED at the top right of the unit lights up. Our test bed (Windows XP based) recognized the controller without the need for any type of drivers and once the notification bubble told me the installation was finished, I could quite literally control my mouse with the track ball and use the side buttons for my left and right mouse clicks. Obviously configuration of games is a snap with the Tankstick as it simply clones keys on your keyboard.
 
To test the unit, we used the Tankstick on multiple games included classic arcade games (see Rampage in the image above) and even newer games like my personal fighting favorite, the Mortal Kombat series. The idea of using the Tankstick as a controller for games like FEAR and CS:Source was joked about in the forums, but I do want to say that while I died many times, I did manage to pull off a head shot! The Tankstick withstood many vigorous games playing match after match of fighting games. I never experienced any lag of the controls.
As far as we can tell, X-Gaming has produced the best controller on the market for arcade gaming. The industrial materials used will take anything you throw at it. If you happen to figure out how to break an action button or a paddle, all you simple have to do is call up X-Gaming and they will send you out the replacement parts and instructions for the life of the controller! That’s right… an unmatched, true lifetime warranty! The lifetime warranty is enough for some to pick a sub-par product over another. In the instance of the Tankstick, X-Gaming has used only top quality parts and I have a feeling you will probably never have to rely on the warranty; it's build like a tank! X-Gaming has done everything right with the X-Gaming Tankstick and is truly a 100% Kickass product!
