Conclusion:
Sunbeam has knocked our socks off with their acrylic cube case. This time around, their Quarterback mid-tower case was not so pleasing. Take away the ‘Core Cooling’ system and this case is just another ordinary steel case. While the steel constructions was well implemented and sturdy, featuring curled edges, the flimsy front ‘door’ made us cringe.

The inclusion of only a single Blue LED 120mm fan when all four fans could have made the case a bit more appealing in the dark. Also, the tool-less features on the external drive bays are made of beige plastic instead of black to match the exterior. This is fine if there isn’t a window, but in this case (case, lol, pun), there is and the beige throws you off. The ‘Core Cooling’ system is a great idea but the lack of horizontal placement creates the possibility of incompatibility with larger CPU heat sinks and video cards.
I can honestly say that I really do not like this case. There were a lot of great ideas thrown into ring when designing this case, but what appears to be penny pinching created a less than desirable product. For a cheap computer build, I would say that this case is an easy buy if you can find a good deal but as of writing this review, the case was $60 at NewEgg.com plus shipping and, in my opinion, is not worth much more than half that. With a basic sturdy frame and poor idea implementation, the product needs some work! Though the low score, we still thank and appreciate Sunbeam for sponsoring this product for review and their continued support of 3dGameMan.com.
