Introduction:
Last time we worked with a Logisys product, it was a VGA Heatpipe cooler. We found that they had excellent build quality and that the product performed fairly well. Today we will be looking at their 550 watt power supply. This is no ordinary power supply, but that’s for later. Logisys dabbles their manufacturing facilities into many different computer upgrade departments. They product cases, lighting, input devices and more. In the past, I have used a number of Logisys’ OEM offerings that were included with their cases. Logisys’ cases vary from basic ‘almost-beige’ cases to more extreme cases like the Dracula and Acrylic cases. The acrylic cases are the target of today’s PSU being tested. The Logisys Acrylic PSU has no real honorable home other than in an acrylic case. With our recent review of the Sunbeam UFO Acrylic case, we thought this would be the perfect follow-up review. Let’s get to it!
