I never won anything anywhere..
I've won 2 things but 0 at 3GM.Although for most contests I'm more interested in WHO won rather than if I won or not... although they're mixed feelings so either way...
the two things I have ever won:
1. Some weird arcade like controller that had arcade buttons ripped from an arcade machine... I liked it for about 10 minutes then was like, meh. Ever since then it's been lying around the house >_>...
2. Some kickass Thermal Paste by Noctua. I won that from PCFlip.com! I did a review on it too in their forums, it is some pretty nice stuff. Thanks again PCFlip!

I've been watching Rod's reviews since last summer and when i got a job in December and started getting money, i wanted to build i computer so i come here and got excelent help :Thumb and i now i check the forums everyday just to learn more and I've been wondering... Has there always been this many new people joining? Or is it just because of the contest?

I'm trying to participate on the new years giveaway but I need more post. And this is my first time joining.
I do that by choice. If you need a reason, I really don't need the prizes. I can buy anything I need or want.
I know that feeling. Now reverse that idea. There is hardware here that need a good home. Sure it will sit in a box for a while along with your other spare parts. However, sooner or later you will find someone that needs it. What would I do with an extra CPU cooler? Then one day I run into a problem with a broken cooler and I give it away to my friend.
