I'm just writing this to let you all know that I've just finished building my first computer. It seems like all my questions on the forum have been worth it because I thankfully had no problems. I'll hopefully be getting the new AMD HD Radeon 7970 once prices and availability settle in the UK. I was going to get XFire GTX 580's to play BF3 but obviously it's not worth it now. I have to say that going from a 2004 Dell Dimension 4700 to this is quite a luxuary. Here's my PC spec:

Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Gold 1200-G. (1200 watts)
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 DELUXE
Processor: Intel I7-2600K
CPU Cooler: Antec Kuhler H20 920
Memory: Crucial 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Graphics Card: GTX 460 SuperClocked (probably be replaced by GTX 600 or HD 7000 series in mid 2012)
Storage: 120GB Kingston HyperX SSD and 1TB WD Caviar Black for games.
Optical Drive: LG SuperMultiBlue BD Rewriter
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate (64Bit)
