and is it true that the game has a lot of problems installing and running? I was looking to buy it off Amazon but there were a lot of negative reviews, same goes for Liberty City.
And how come that not many stores have these games in stock anymore? I usually buy everything off from Newegg but they only have it for 360 and PS3.. Was also looking to buy the GTA Trilogy and once again not many places have these in stock
ALSO - is the multiplayer any good? does anybody even play it after all these years?
my computer is perfectly capable of running everything maxed
The episodes are standalone and do not require the base game to play.
I have gotten both games to run flawlessly, it's just that a lot of people despise Games for Windows Live because it can be buggy at times.
Both games will be hard to find at retail since they are fairly old (2008). You can still get them off Steam and they will offer much better pricing on them anyway. You missed out on the Summer Sale where they had the games like 75% off.
The multiplayer is pretty much dead since the game has aged, but you can still find servers with people playing, usually free roam.
thank you, I prefer having my games as hard copies, will go ahead and purchase the episodes alone then as they dont require the base game.
no, the dlc is stand alone and don't req the original game
no you don't i have both copies and i don't think you need GTA4 to play episodes of liberty city .
I'd buy the gta iv complete edition. It has both games and costs propably 5€ more than just one of them. Atleast in steam. If you have a friend who plays with you the multiplayer is super fun.
