Hello,
I wanted to show you guys this AWESOME affordable gaming mouse. I never used a gaming mouse until this Christmas because Santa got me one. I have always used a generic Logitech mouse. I always wondered how some people shoot me quicker or aim faster and more accurate then me. I didn't think it was physically me because how hard could pointing and clicking be? Before calling myself names, I asked Santa for this wonderful OCZ gaming mouse. Seeing how the economy is bad, I wanted one that didn't break the bank. I stumbled upon this little beauty. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010339
Now you see the price, and the first thing that comes to mind is, cheap... low quality. Not at all. The specs are just as good as the $100 razer or Logitech mice. Same DPI, removable weights, profiles etc. I was instantly like wow, I can get a mouse as good as the best for a little over $20. This mouse is great, the software allows u to adjust dpi settings to how you like ( Higher DPI = more sensitive ) and you can store DPI settings with different profiles. So say you like a sensitive sniper, but you don't like flying around corners with your shotgun and accidently looking too far to the side and getting killed because you were looking at a wall, well.... you can change the profile on the FLY so no matter what your doing you can have the DPI you want. You don't have to set up or change a profile to change the DPI though ( although changing a profile is as easy as hitting caps lock 2 times) there is a button on the top with 4 different custom dpi settings. How do you know what profile you are on? Its as simple as looking at the mouse, the lights represent profiles and DPI settings. Its great and it looks flashy too!
Overall its a bang for the buck, I instantly got wayyy better at my First Person shooter games. ( Not kidding ) I love this mouse, the response time is amazing. My old mouse, I would try to move it just slightly left or right while sniping but instead of that slight movement, I would "jump" to the left or right. Impossible to make small movements. This mouse has full range, you can make small movements smoothly, without a jump.
Another fun thing to do with this mouse is put the DPI to 3200 when you're not home, then someone tries to use your computer and they cant even do it because they move the mouse just a little and the mouse jumps across the screen =)
Although the new razor goes up to 5600 dpi.. but thats one of few. This is a great mouse, I didn't regret getting it, neither will you!
I didn't check but 3dgameman should do a review on this bad boy, If he has time of course =)
i got the ocz equalizer laser gaming mouse. i love it its comfortable and it is very good in small hands.
Yeah man ive had the Behemoth for a yeah maybe and i love it, the mouse imo moves with every little bump even loud music from speaker monitors sets this thing off. you experience this?
I have the full weights inside, so its a little heavy, my speakers wont move it, although when I walk next to my desk my monitor turns back on. ( I have it set to standby after 10 min of inactivity) But I'm 320lbs and its also nice, its like my computer knows I'm coming and turns back on. =P
Yeah, I had an OCZ Eclipse, and I really liked it, but it broke after a few months. So now I am waiting for them to ship me an OCZ Behemoth... When My behemoth gets here, I'll do a direct comparison to my Logitech g500 :)
