Just a question for better clarity.

Lets say there is a game and it needs 4cores to play with the speed of 2.0ghz(and we have quadcore-2.2ghz ready)

and someone has got dual cores with the speed of 3.2ghz so while playing that game, who would perform better and if dual core loses(incase) what problem we could face.

pls explain.....very curious.

Not a dumb question on here man :) Thats what its for.

I dont see a game NEEDING to run on 4 cores but with the CPU running at 2.0 then i guess hehe :P

There are many factors other then just the GHz but I would say maybe the Dual Core. Though that is hard to imagine since i dont think there is a quad core that runs at 2GHz :)

Sorry if i didnt help, but i would think the dual core..... OR make the quad core OC'd then you would win hehe

i dont think very many guys if any at all support quad care right now...

BUT as of right now it dual that is still faster in most games even though some people like myself have quads or even 8 with HT enabled
