"killer on your electric bill" is relative. If you only have the computer on when you are actually using it, it should really not be that bad. But if you are lazy, like me, and leave the computer on all day then even a lighter system can affect that bill.

randy the 5 series cards are still in beta drivers to i suggest you wait to crossfire those 5970s, i saw a youtube video of a guy with crossfire 5970s and the stutter was unbelievable and performance was horrid. just get one for now until they update the drivers and improve crossfire scaling on the 5970s

EDIT: i just watched some other videos on his youtube account and it seems to be doing much better. before his framerate was around 20 now its in the 110 range so apparently they did send out a driver update or something

Man as soon as i saw the 2 5970's supposedly in crossfire i started laughing, although some ppl have managed to get those to work i seriously doubt this guy is one of them not to mention the other 2 5870's.  Hell if you got that much $$$ why not all 5970's.  Lets not forget the 6 monitors, this guys got the setup from the matrix.  Hey but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt lets see some pictures.

yah I have a quadruple mother board set up what all have dual processor set ups with the black edition  core intel i7's and all have 47 5990's and a orbital monitor set up that completely surrounds me like in the movie gamer.
